MyopiaProgression.com is a parent-first resource. Our Community Q&A is a space where concerned parents can ask questions, share experiences, and receive guidance from verified eye care professionals and other families navigating the same journey.

Every question and answer is moderated to ensure the information shared here is respectful, accurate, and genuinely helpful. We hold all participants — parents, providers, and researchers alike — to the same standard.

What's Welcome

Questions about myopia progression, treatment options, and managing your child's care
Personal experiences with Ortho-K, myopia contact lenses, atropine, or other treatments — clearly labeled as personal experience
Requests for help understanding a diagnosis, test result, or treatment recommendation
Sharing published research or clinical guidelines with a source link
Supportive responses to other parents' questions and concerns
Constructive questions directed at verified providers

What's Not Allowed

Diagnosing, prescribing, or providing specific medical advice to other users
Promoting or selling products, services, or practices — including affiliate links
Sharing unverified claims, misinformation, or anecdotal evidence presented as clinical fact
Disparaging specific doctors, clinics, brands, or products by name
Sharing personally identifiable information about yourself or your child
Spam, duplicate posts, or off-topic content unrelated to myopia or vision health
Harassment, intimidation, or disrespectful language toward any community member

Moderation & Enforcement

All questions and answers are reviewed before publication. Our moderation team may edit, hold for review, or remove content that violates these guidelines. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
